On the afternoon of 7 September, the Polish Economic, Trade and Tourism Cooperation and Exchange Conference was successfully held in Ningbo. Hosted by the Ningbo Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the event was hosted by the Ningbo Center for Exhibition Promotion and Central and Eastern European Cooperation, with the support of the Ningbo International Trade Promotion Council and the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism.
Speeches were delivered by Ms Bao Xianping, Director of the Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office, and Piotr Leszczynski, Acting Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai. The event was hosted by Zhang Yadong, director of the Central and Eastern Europe Promotion and Expo Centre in Ningbo. More than a dozen foreign guests from the Association of Polish Entrepreneurs, the PTAK WARSAW EXPO Warsaw International Exhibition Centre, the China-Poland Shipping Company, the Polish Tourist Office and other institutions and enterprises, as well as more than 20 Chinese enterprises such as Ningbo Federal Changyun and Ningbo Aiko Refrigeration attended the fair.

Bao Xianping stated that Ningbo will take advantage of the first-class business environment, make every effort to provide service guarantees and actively promote exchanges and cooperation with Poland in a deeper, wider area and at a higher level.

Xi Puwa, President of the Association of Polish Entrepreneurs, recommended the Association of Polish Entrepreneurs and the Warsaw Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Guests from China and abroad actively communicated with each other and the atmosphere was warm. The event fulfilled its goal of “promoting exchanges, strengthening friendship and deepening cooperation”. The event was a complete success.
