Innovation? You can see it, hear it, and touch it here For anyone looking for answers about the direction of the packaging industry - all it took was a walk between the stands. The key trends were immediately visible:
- Exhibitors showcased fully operational packaging lines, packaging machines, labeling systems, and wrapping solutions - not in brochures, but physically running at their stands.
- Eco-packaging and the circular economy
- Biodegradable films, paper packaging replacing plastic, solutions compliant with the EU SUP directive - the green revolution was present at every step.
- Automation and robotics
- Palletizing robots, pick-and-place systems, cobot arms - automation of packaging lines has become a standard, not a novelty.
- Printing, labels, and marking
- Active packaging and MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) - extending the shelf life of food products
- Advanced inkjet systems, digital flexography, smart labels with QR and NFC - packaging as a carrier of brand identity and product information.

Behind these trends, however, are specific solutions - and specific players shaping them into reality. It was at the exhibition stands that one could best see how theory transforms into working technologies, and slogans into measurable business outcomes. Each stand effectively responded to a different market challenge. ULMA Packaging - as Strategic Partner - demonstrated integrated packaging lines that minimize cycle times. IMA S.p.A. showcased pharmaceutical packaging precision at a level impossible to capture in a training video. Stora Enso Poland provided clear evidence that carton packaging can replace plastic without compromise. Fuji Robotics Europe brought cobots to life with such smooth, dynamic movements that it was hard to look away. And companies such as HG Robotics and Clevertech proved that end-of-line automation is no longer a privilege of large-scale plants - it has become accessible to all. The Excellence Award Medal Ceremony was the true highlight of the fair, placing the most innovative solutions in the spotlight. Who took home the gold? Discover the full report!
