On May 22-24, 2024, Ptak Warsaw Expo has become the capital of innovation in the battery industry and energy storage and power supply technologies. All this thanks to a substantive and networking-oriented event, which was the first edition of Battery Forum Poland.

Comprehensive solutions for the industry during Battery Forum Poland
Battery Forum Poland brought together entrepreneurs looking for solutions and those offering them in one place and at one time. Managers and owners of industrial plants of various industries, technicians, managers and specialists from energy departments in companies, energy engineers, building managers, managers of cooperatives and housing communities, architects and designers of office and large-scale buildings, designers and investors of wind farms, solar farms and hybrid installations – Battery Forum Poland’s offer was addressed to these visitors, among others.
During the event, thanks to a wide range of offers, they received solutions tailored to their needs in the field of energy storage technologies and systems, battery system components and accessories, battery production technologies, engineering services, financial services, subsidies, insurance and training dedicated to the needs of the sector.
Presented were, among others, EmiterNet, Kon-TEC, PIME, SOLFINITY, POWER LAB, QSENSE, EnergyOn, Solar Edge, MEB, CORAL, ENERP, Tesla, ALMIDES, WAMTECHNIK, MP Solar-Group, SOLAX POWER, MULTI AWP, MPL ENERGY and TF KABLE. However, there were many more exhibitors. In total, there were 128 with 8107 visitors from all over Europe.
Considerations on the future of the battery industry in Poland
During Battery Forum Poland, a round table discussion took place: “The future of the battery industry in Poland”. Experts discussed both the challenges and opportunities facing the Polish battery industry. It was a platform to seek agreement on the necessary actions to ensure that our country will be an attractive place for the battery and energy storage industry.
The event was attended by Konrad Wojnarowski, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, Rafał Gawin, President of the Energy Regulatory Office, Mikołaj Budzanowski, President of Boryszew Green Energy & Gas, Robert Chryc-Gawrychowski, President of Northvolt Poland. Bartek Kras, Vice-President of Impact Clean Power Technology, Anna Chmielewska, Associate Director, Senior Banker at EBRD, Piotr Charewicz, Senior Infrastructure Specialist at World Bank and Grzegorz Onichimowski, President of PSE.
Another important substantive event during Battery Forum Poland was the PIME BATTERY SUMMIT POLAND conference. The invited experts talked about Poland’s policy in the field of energy storage, the battery industry, storing electricity in the power system, battery production and recycling, as well as financing the battery sector, battery technologies, progress in lithium-ion batteries and alternative solutions. There were also considerations about battery management systems and the key issue of their safety.
Success of Battery Forum Poland and Energy Storage Expo
Battery Forum Poland was a place to obtain substantive knowledge, development, acquiring new business partners, valuable leads and tools necessary for development in the industry. It opened entrepreneurs to domestic and foreign investors and allowed them to become familiar with European markets – their possibilities, prospects and needs. Additionally, the three-day event allowed us to develop individual plans for each business and gain a full perspective of opportunities in the industry. An event taking place simultaneously at Ptak Warsaw Expo – Energy Storage Expo – a trade fair for energy storage technologies, also participated in this.
