A conference during the Warsaw Pack
On May 26, 2021, there will be a conference entitled Trends and innovation in the packaging industry, which will be held as part of the International Packaging Technology and Packaging Fair - Warsaw Pack at Ptak Warsaw Expo.
For the sixth time, representatives of all branches of the packaging industry will have the opportunity to meet at Ptak Warsaw Expo at the International Packaging Technology and Packaging Fair. From year to year, the event is becoming more and more popular among visitors and exhibitors, thus motivating the organizers to constantly develop the event. During the upcoming edition of the Warsaw Pack fair, in addition to the exhibition, which will present, among others, modern packaging and packaging machines as well as a wide range of labels and labeling machines, participants will have the opportunity to take part in interesting discussion panels and lectures as part of an organized conference by: Polish Chamber of Packaging, Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Biopolymers and Chemical Fibers and COBRO - Packaging Research and Development Center.
The aim of the conference "Trends and innovation in the packaging industry" is to promote innovative trends available on the packaging market and to present the most interesting implementations. Speakers will discuss topics related to the use of biopolymer films, packaging innovations and their certification, will present examples and best market practices regarding eco-design of packaging, as well as discuss market trends, opportunities and threats facing the packaging industry. The event is free and open to both visitors and exhibitors.

Tomasz Szypuła as the new President of the National Federation of Entrepreneurs
We are pleased to announce that on March 15, 2021, Mr. Tomasz Szypuła – President of Ptak Warsaw Expo became the President of the National Federation of Entrepreneurs, gaining the support of all associations of Polish merchants and entrepreneurs and associated federations.
The decision made by thousands of entrepreneurs to elect Tomasz Szypuła to the position of President of the Federation was motivated by his involvement in the affairs of Polish companies as a member of the Supervisory Board of Holding Ptak, President of the Management Board of Ptak Warsaw Expo and President of the Management Board of the Association of Polish Clothing Producers, as well as excellent knowledge of the SME sector.
We believe that the vocation of President Tomasz Szypuła to the new position will bring real help to the companies that have suffered the most as a result of the pandemic and related restrictions, and that the activities of the Federation will have a significant impact on the participation of the Polish SME sector in consultations regarding legal projects involving the interests of Polish entrepreneurs, implemented by state and local authorities.
Numerous contacts, both with Polish and foreign entrepreneurs, institutions, as well as the experience gained during many years of managing the largest fair and congress center in Poland will certainly contribute to the development of the Federation’s activities.
The Polish Federation of Entrepreneurs has existed since 2006 and represents the interests of Polish companies that operate in the field of production and distribution of goods from various industries and services in Poland and other European Union countries. The main goals of the Federation bringing together over 15,000 companies from various industries and nearly 500,000 employees are focused on representing the interests of Polish entrepreneurs before state and local government authorities, administration and other business organizations, disclosing and eliminating manifestations of unfair market competition, as well as legal assistance, organizational support and promotion, in particular, of companies from the SME sector.
Tomasz Szypuła, taking up a new position, thanked Jerzy Romański, previous President of the National Federation of Entrepreneurs, for his commitment and contribution to the functioning of the Federation. Mr. Jerzy Romański will continue to actively support and participate in the activities of the Federation, acting as the vice-president.
The Green Days fair with a new date
Due to the restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic - the Largest Horticultural Fair in Poland will not be able to take place on the previously planned date. The next meeting of gardening enthusiasts at Ptak Warsaw Expo will take place on March 17-19, 2022.
The Green Days Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Fair is a meeting place for professionals as well as garden owners and lovers. Participation in the event will allow you to establish new business contacts with partners from Poland and all over Europe. The tightening of restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic leaves no doubt that the implementation of the Central Agricultural Fair in the spring period that is just beginning will not be possible. Spring edition of Beauty Forum canceled

TSW - rescheduling the event
The Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair will be held in 2022. The organizers of the event decided to postpone the fair. The next edition will take place next year, on January 12-13 at Ptak Warsaw Expo.
The Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair was to be held on April 23-24, 2021, at the same time as the Central Agricultural Fair and the Green Days gardening and landscape architecture fair. However, those willing to visit one of the largest specialist horticultural and vegetable exhibitions in Central and Eastern Europe will have to wait until next year.
A month ago, we were convinced that we would organize the TSW 2021 Fair in April, but despite our and your efforts, the 11th edition of TSW will not take place this year. The reason for the cancellation of the event is the development of the COVID-19 pandemic and the related restrictions. The current conditions make it impossible for the organizers to realized the fair at a level that guarantees success - stated the organizers of the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair.
Due to such a long break, the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair in 2022 will certainly be unique. The organizers will make every effort to ensure that the next edition of the fair could take place in the traditional formula. Work on the event is ongoing, and the organizers ensure contact with participants to confirm the current conditions of participation and the location of the stand.
Despite the fact that the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair will not be held this year, the organizers intend to organize conferences in the form of an online broadcast. On April 23-25, 2021 the following will be broadcast: VIII Strawberry Conference, Orchard Conference and Economic Forum, Ecology and gardening sustainable in practice, who does it pay off? A dynamic list of exhibitors will be launched on the organizer's website, thanks to which conference participants will be able to easily contact a given company and see its offer. On November 25-27, 2021, participants in the gift and decoration industry will meet at Ptak Warsaw Expo during the 2nd edition of the Warsaw Gift & Deco Show. The largest Gift and Decoration Fair will attract visitors from all over the world.
For the second time, Ptak Warsaw Expo will host an event bringing together representatives of the gift and decoration industry. The 5th edition of the interior design fair at Ptak Warsaw Expo
Warsaw Home & Contract - the most important interior design event in this part of Europe will be held on October 27-30, 2021 at Ptak Warsaw Expo. It is a unique fair that attracts tens of thousands of lovers of good design every year.
Warsaw Home & Contract is a business interior fair with an international reach. The event is conducive to establishing commercial relations and numerous contracting. Producers from Poland and abroad exhibit here for four days, and their number grows from edition to edition. In 2019, as many as 665 exhibitors presented their offer on 120,000 m2 of exhibition space, which gave unlimited possibilities of presenting products.

The topic of the conversation was cooperation in the following years. Today we can confirm that last year's talks resulted in starting cooperation as part of the third edition of the fair, which will be held at the International Trade Fair and Congress Center Ptak Warsaw Expo between September 30 and October 2, 2021.
The previous edition of the International Food and Ecological Products Fair, which took place on October 8-10, 2020, despite the limitations related to the pandemic, was a huge success and in practice the only event for the BIO industry in 2020. The success of BIOEXPO Warsaw 2020 would not be possible without the involvement of partners, as well as exhibitors and visitors. The main partner of the 2nd edition of the fair was Lidl Polska, while the strategic partner - the Polish Chamber of Organic Food.
BIOEXPO Warsaw is a new approach to the presentation of the bioproduct industry, the aim of which is to present the entire production process of organic products from the farmer to the final product. The event is dedicated to the food and organic products industry. During the fair, in one place and time, leading producers and distributors of organic food and products will meet with buyers, representatives of retail chains, owners of specialist stores, representatives of food and multi-sector wholesalers to establish and develop business contacts and discuss the current the condition of the industry and its development prospects.

The industrial transport revolution is coming. During the 5th edition of Warsaw Industry Week, which will take place on November 8-10, 2021 at Ptak Warsaw Expo, Beckhoff will present the latest, innovative transport system – XPlanar.
During the International Fair of Innovative Industrial Solutions at Ptak Warsaw Expo, the Beckhoff company, specializing in the implementation of open automation systems, will present its offer. Bekhoff is a recognized brand, cooperating with partners all over the world – present in 75 countries on all continents.
The latest transport system – XPlanar, which will be displayed at the Beckhoff stand during the Warsaw Industry Week fair, is an innovative solution that starts a new era in transporting objects. XPlanar combines the advantages of a conventional approach and adds the effect of free flow of products. As a result, it offers a wide range of new product handling functions within one machine or between several machines. As with autonomous vehicles, the user enjoys the freedom to freely move the platforms. Importantly, individual goods can be transported to any place, along any trajectory.
XPlanar combines flexibility with the dynamics of linear motors, thus offering unrivaled optimization of production cycle times, including through the concept of product positioning also during processing. The use of levitating transport pallets that replace all mechanical elements – drastically reduces the costs of the application itself and its subsequent maintenance, and the use of as many as six degrees of freedom allows for a significant simplification of the mechanics of individual production stages.
Innovative technology
The phenomenon of the solution proposed by Beckhoff is the fact that platforms transporting products fly over special plates, which are an essential element of the system. This is possible thanks to the electromagnetic force, which maintains a constant distance between the platforms and the ground, so that they can move freely without hitting the ground. The tiles can be laid in any configuration, making it possible to flexibly install the communication route, while the software enables the continuous optimization of the transport path. The fact that the technology is based on electromagnetic force allows the platforms to move over walls and ceilings.
The platforms are fully mobile. With their help, it is possible to weigh, lift and lower transported objects within the range of 5 millimeters, and the ability of the platforms to perform a full rotation facilitates their appropriate positioning. Moreover, each single platform can drive separately, which makes it possible to set a separate speed of one vehicle.
The highest speed at which the platforms can move is 4 m / s, while the degree of load depends on the size of the pallet. Beckhoff offers several variants. The smallest size is 95 x 95 x 12mm and the largest is 275 x 275 x 12mm. The largest of the platforms can carry a product weighing 6 kilograms, and the platforms can be combined into groups, which increases the capacity in terms of lifting capacity.
Keep the factory clean
The degree of inclination of the platform during movement is up to 5 degrees, which allows for safe transport of liquids with them, without the risk of splashing the ground. In addition, maintaining cleanliness is facilitated by the possibility of leveling the pallets and the lack of emission of particles, as well as the elimination of sudden movements and jerks that cause the products to spill or scatter. Due to the fact that the platforms do not touch the ground, there is also no risk of contamination spreading through the factory. The ground above which the platforms levitate can be covered with: easy-to-clean glass, hygienic stainless steel material or a plastic material.
The innovative XPlanar system offers a wide range of applications, and also guarantees an increase in the efficiency of the production line and a reduction in production time.
Apart from the pallets and drive modules, the only component required for operation is a Beckhoff industrial computer with TwinCAT 3 software and an EtherCAT cable. The real-time TwinCAT system works as a motion controller for levitating paddles and prevents collisions between them.

The portfolio of the industrial fair at Ptak Warsaw Expo is expanding with another event. On September 22-24, 2021, Ptak Warsaw Expo will host the premiere edition of the Warsaw Automatica Expo.
Warsaw Automatica Expo will be another opportunity to present and sell the latest technological solutions in the field of industrial automation and robotics. This event has its roots in the Warsaw Industry Week fair, which has been successfully organized at the International Trade Fair and Congress Center for 6 years. Recognizing the dynamic development of the industrial automation and robotics sector, which is one of the zones of industrial fairs, Ptak Warsaw Expo met the expectations of the industry, creating additional space for business development.
The thematic scope of the event is based on objects and processes for automation and robotization of the company as well as issues related to industry 4.0. In the spring at the Ptak Warsaw Expo, there will be no shortage of recognized industry events as well as premiere trade fairs. The opening of the fair season will take place on April 22, 2021 during the Green Days.
The exhibition industry, both the organizers, exhibition centers and companies cooperating at the fair, are waiting for the green light to start trade fairs, especially those of an industry nature. We believe that soon we will be able to reopen the exhibition halls and invite entrepreneurs to them who expect direct business meetings and the opportunity to present and learn about industry trends.

On April 22-24, 2021, a real agriculture and horticulture festival will take place at Ptak Warsaw Expo. On April 22, the fair space will be filled with gardening and landscape architecture enthusiasts, starting the largest garden fair in Poland – Green Days. In turn, a day later, on April 23, 2021, at the Ptak Warsaw Expo Fair and Congress Center, two more large events will start: the 5th edition of the Largest Modern Technology Fair for Agriculture – Central Agricultural Fair and the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair. All events will end on April 24, 2021.

The next month will begin with the fair dedicated to automotive fans, who will meet at Ptak Warsaw Expo on May 7-9, 2021. On May 7, two-wheelers lovers will appear at the Warsaw Motorcycle Show and on the next day enthusiasts of vintage and classic vehicles, starting the Warsaw Oldtimer Show. The participants of both events await numerous attractions that will satisfy automotive enthusiasts of all age groups. In turn, at the end of May, between 26 and 28, the International Fair of Packaging Technology and Packaging – Warsaw Pack and the Food Technology Fair – Food Tech Expo will take place. Events associating the packaging industry and food producers will be a unique opportunity to get to know a wide range of companies, whose offers and services will ensure multidirectional, and at the same time comprehensive development of the company.
In the spring of 2021, Ptak Warsaw Expo will also host events for representatives of crafts related to the industry. The first event dedicated to a specific area of industry this season will be the Wood Tech Warsaw Expo, which is a must-see for all companies and specialists working in the wood industry. On May 12-14, 2021, producers, importers, traders, distributors, processors and end users of wood industry products will meet at Ptak Warsaw Expo. During the 3 days of the fair, the latest products, technologies and solutions on the wood market will be displayed at Ptak Warsaw Expo.
June
June is the month of industry and heavy equipment. The recognized industrial fair – Warsaw Industry Week will take place at Ptak Warsaw Expo on June 8-10. During the three days of the fair, exhibitors will present products and solutions – from machine tools and production systems for cutting and forming, through precision tools and components to automated production. The spring period in the Ptak Warsaw Expo trade fair calendar will close with events bringing together representatives of the finishing industry and the construction sector: Construction Machinery Exhibition and Warsaw Tools & Hardware Show, and the International Transport, Forwarding and Logistics Fair – MT TSL, which will take place on June 17-19, 2021.
The unfreezing of the fair will have a positive impact on the reconstruction of many other “fair-related” companies, closely related to the organization of events, such as: companies designing and building exhibition spaces or advertising companies dealing with promotion. The fair is also one of the most important forms of sales and marketing of representatives of some industries and the driving force of the economy. Both exhibitors and visitors treat the fair as a tool that directly supports their business.

The government recommends surgical/medical masks
According to the recommendation of the Minister of Health, from February 27, 2021, everyone is obliged to cover their mouth and nose in public places by wearing masks, with particular recommendation to use medical / surgical masks. It will no longer be possible to use visors, scarves, chimney shawls or bandamas for this purpose.
Government-recommended medical / surgical masks are a medical device that is regulated by the European Union for medical products. Such masks must have a CE declaration of conformity and meet the EN14683: 2019 + AC standards.
The above conditions are met by medical (surgical) masks produced by PTAK Medical. In addition to the fact that their production is carried out using the highest standards (ISO), they guarantee as much as 99% filtration efficiency. This was confirmed in medical tests conducted by the Central Institute for Labor Protection – National Research Institute (CIOP), during which it was proved that the tested masks meet all the requirements and confirm high filtration efficiency, breathing resistance and microbiological purity.
Which mask to choose?
By wearing a mask, we protect ourselves and others. To what extent – it depends on the quality of the mask used. The mask prevents secretions from our mouth and nose from escaping into the space, thus reducing the risk of droplet infection of people nearby. However, it is worth noting a clear difference between non-medical masks and medical (surgical) masks – offered by PTAK Medical. Non-medical masks can be made of various fabrics and do not guarantee adequate air filtration, therefore they do not protect against inhalation of pollutants and microorganisms. We also cannot be sure about the conditions under which they were produced. The situation is different in the case of medical / surgical masks, which are a medical device – registered in the Office for Registration of Medical Devices. Medical masks are tested and the production process is extremely rigorous, following the ISO rules for the production of medical masks.

Free breathing is as important as viral filtration. Unlike FFP2, K95 or KN95 masks, medical masks manufactured by PTAK Medical guarantee high quality of breathing and proper adjustment to the shape of the face, ensuring the best protection. Proper wearing of masks on the nose and mouth greatly affects their effectiveness, so it is worth paying attention to this issue when choosing a mask. The next thing is the price. In the case of medical masks, it is several times lower than the FFP2, K95 and KN95 masks, with excellent filtration efficiency – much higher than the FFP2, K95, KN95.
We guarantee that the medical masks we produce are in accordance with the PN-EN 14683: 2019 + AC standard and thus meet the requirements of the Act of May 20, 2010 on medical devices, implementing the provisions of Directive 93/42 / EEC on medical devices.

EuroGastro and WorldHotel with a new date
The 24th EuroGastro International Gastronomy Fair and the 13th WorldHotel International Accommodation Facility Fair will be held at Ptak Warsaw Expo on September 1-3, 2021.
EuroGastro and WorldHotel fairs are an excellent opportunity to get closely acquainted with the latest trends in gastronomy and hotel industry. In 2019, both events were organized for the first time at Ptak Warsaw Expo, which was extremely positively received by the catering and hotel industry, mainly for practical reasons. Easier access, larger parking and more space in the exhibition hall are the most frequently mentioned benefits of the new location.
The thematic scope of the event includes: equipment for kitchen facilities and hotels, bakery, confectionery and ice-cream making, food and drinks, coffee - production, distribution and brewing accessories, as well as a drink & bar, i.e., among others: alcohol and products necessary to prepare drinks.
