We are pleased to invite you to the Medical SERVICE lecture

We are pleased to invite you to the Medical SERVICE lecture which will be held on November 27, 2024 at Ptak Warsaw Expo, during Medical Expo. This unique event will bring together medical professionals, managers, company representatives and industry experts to discuss the latest challenges and innovations in healthcare and the development of modern medical technologies.

Below are a few words about the lecture by Mr. Bruno Basile, speaker on behalf of Medical Service:

Temnography: A Revolutionary Diagnostic Tool for Brain Lesions

The field of neurodiagnostic has made a leap forward with the introduction of temnography, an innovative and non-invasive imaging technology aimed at early diagnosis of brain lesions, particularly in stroke cases. Unlike conventional imaging methods such as CT or MRI, temnography offers a quicker, safer, and more accessible approach to brain diagnostics, making it a potential game-changer in emergency and outpatient settings.

What is Temnography?

Temnography is a cutting-edge diagnostic technique that employs low-frequency electromagnetic emissions to produce images of brain tissue. Developed by TTC Diagnostic, a company specializing in non-invasive neurodiagnostic solutions, this technology stands out due to its simplicity and safety profile. The device, TES HT (Subcranic Encephalic Temnography Head Trauma), consists of a lightweight headset that can be worn by patients, allowing for a straightforward and swift examination without the need for complex machinery or extensive technical training. Unlike traditional imaging, temnography does not rely on ionizing radiation, reducing potential health risks and enhancing patient compliance.

Clinical Relevance and Benefits

A recent study demonstrated the TES HT remarkable diagnostic performance. Conducted on a cohort of patients with brain lesion, the study compared temnography’s efficacy with that of MRI and CT scans. The findings revealed that temnography achieved high sensitivity and specificity, accurately identifying brain lesions with the same precision as traditional methods. Furthermore, no adverse effects were reported, underscoring the device’s safety for both patients and technicians (Vaia et al IJAR 2023). Additional studies are ongoing with the objective to recruit more than 500 patients.

Advantages Over Traditional Imaging

Temnography is distinguished by several advantages over MRI and CT scans. Primarily, it is portable and easy to operate, making it an ideal tool for use in diverse settings, including ambulances, clinics, and remote locations with limited access to advanced imaging facilities. The headset is relatively lightweight (approximately 5 kg) and can be applied with minimal training, enabling a faster setup compared to bulky MRI or CT machines. Moreover, temnography’s avoidance of ionizing radiation aligns with a growing demand for safer diagnostic options, especially in recurrent imaging scenarios where cumulative radiation exposure is a concern.

Another key benefit is cost-effectiveness. The simplicity of the TES HT reduces the need for high-cost infrastructure and technical expertise, potentially lowering the financial burden on healthcare systems. This makes temnography an appealing option, not only in well-resourced hospitals but also in under-resourced healthcare settings, where access to expensive imaging modalities is limited.

Future Prospects

As research and clinical trials continue to validate temnography’s diagnostic capabilities, there is significant potential for its integration into mainstream medical practice. With its non-invasive nature, ease of use, and rapid results, temnography could become a first-line diagnostic tool for brain lesions in emergencies. Additionally, its applications may be extending also hemorrhagic stroke diagnosis, and additional research is planned to explore its utility in detecting other neurological conditions.

In conclusion, temnography represents a significant advancement in neurodiagnostic technology, offering a blend of efficiency, safety, and accessibility. As this innovative technology gains traction, it promises to redefine standards in brain imaging in emergency, making timely and accurate diagnostics available to a broader population and ultimately contributing to improved healthcare outcomes in the management of cerebrovascular diseases.

After the lecture, visit the booth – E4.12 in Hall E.

Presentation of winning furniture and exhibition of works awarded in the Artforms competition

We would like to invite you to the official presentation of furniture, the realisation of the project that won the Artforms competition!

The ‘ArtForms’ competition, organised by the Simple Form Studio, is an initiative to promote contemporary Polish design. Addressed to interior designers and architects, it is also a tribute to the history of domestic design and an expression of the need to continue its best traditions. The reason for organising it is the approaching 100th anniversary of the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts and Modern Industry, held in Paris in 1925. Polish artists in the 1920s returned from the French capital honoured with many awards. This exhibition was the main source of inspiration for the competition participants. The competition task was to design a piece of furniture that, like the design of a hundred years ago, would attract attention with its elegance, functionality and innovative solutions.

The first prize was won by Mikołaj Sołtysiak, Grzegorz Kurzawa and Marika Stanisławska – a group from Poznań – for their table-sculpture design.

This project, realised by the competition organiser Studio Prostych From, will be officially presented at the Warsaw Home&Contract Fair!

The ceremonial unveiling of the piece of furniture will take place on 23.10.24 at 14:00 in the area of Studio Prostych Form. The winning piece of furniture will be on display throughout the fair.

The competition also recognised 10 artists and their works:
Ewa Burak – console Niezapominajka,
Anna Doczekalska – Deko table,
Maja Drążkowska – Fasada chest of drawers,
Natalia Glazer-Wika – chest of drawers project,
Krystian Jandura – console design,
