Furniture Contract Expo 2025: the furniture industry from an international perspective at Ptak Warsaw Expo
On June 10-12, 2025, Ptak Warsaw Expo hosted Furniture Contract Expo, an international furniture industry trade fair, for the second time. The event was an integration platform for furniture manufacturers, design companies, designers and entrepreneurs producing furniture accessories. The trade fair gathered 7075 participants.

The Furniture Contract Expo trade fair showed the possibilities of the furniture industry in an international context. It helped in:
- familiarization with foreign products, services and innovations not yet available in Poland
- analysis of foreign markets – niches, trends and specifics
- assessment of the possibilities of debuting on international markets in the light of competition, legislation and demand
- contracting with valued sector leaders from abroad
An important part of the Furniture Contract Expo was the ceremony of awarding the Trade Fair Medals. Awards were presented in four categories: Trade Fair Product, Trade Fair Premiere, Innovation, Trade Fair Exposition. Additionally, the Polish Federation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises awarded its own awards. The full list of winners is available below:
Summary of the main conferences of Furniture Contract Expo 2025
During Furniture Contract Expo 2025, every visitor had the opportunity to take part in the Innovative Furniture Summit, an educational event dedicated to the development of the industry. Those interested could listen to experts during five substantive panels: training in CAD/CAM software for furniture design, the conference “Materialization: new technologies, new materials – the future of design for furniture and component manufacturers”, “Wood – a Polish strategic raw material” and “The charm of furniture lies in the detail”. There was also a panel of “Trends and Exhibitors’ Presentations”. During the conference “Wood Polish strategic raw material”, listeners could familiarize themselves with the description of the wood sales system in the State Forests, an overview of the situation on the domestic and foreign markets for wood raw material and wood products, and also learn why wood is the Polish material of the future. The “Trends and Exhibitors’ Presentations” panel gave them answers to questions about how artificial intelligence affects the manufacturing industry, whether being a contractor is enough, and how design increases margins and competitiveness on the market.
